FARES
Here are our fares for 2009. Fares may differ for Special Events - usually
higher, but sometimes lower! On Father's
Day Specials, each dad accompanied by a child holding a ticket gets a free cup
of tea or coffee and biscuits. Family
tickets are not available on some Special Event days, and Car Parking fees may
be payable during the Garn Lakes Day, and Transport Rally.

FACILITIES
The journey is currently ¾ mile,
and a complete single round trip takes rather less
than seventeen minutes, but subject to the needs of other passengers, holders
of ordinary return tickets may take unlimited travel on the day their ticket is
issued, breaking their journey as many times as they wish.
·
We
can usually accommodate passengers with disabilities, but it helps if you can
phone us before you arrive.
Charter trains
We can sometimes offer charter trains, and other
services - please call us. We welcome enquiries from school parties for travel
during the weeks before Christmas.
Regular Services
Trains run every Sunday and most Saturdays from
Easter till the end of September. If you want to talk to us about trains then
regular days are the time to come! Trains run every day for the last week in
August. Services are worked by Diesel Locomotive or Diesel Multiple Unit (DMU)
. Enjoy seeing where you're going by travelling on our DMUs.

SANTA SPECIALS
In 2009, Santa
Specials run on the three weekends and the last Monday and Tuesday before
Christmas. See Santa and friends in his grotto at the Whistle Inn, with
presents for children and mince pies and sherry for mums and dads - and a roaring log fire
at the inn.
